Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the AheadMe mobile application (the "App") operated by SeventhCore ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

AheadMe is a task management application that generates AI-powered motivational notifications from your "future self." You set tasks and times, and the App delivers personalized push notifications to help you stay on track.

2. Account Registration

• You must provide a valid email address and create a password to use the App
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• The App is intended for users aged 13 and over, in accordance with international data protection laws such as the U.S. COPPA
• Minors (under 18 in most jurisdictions) must obtain parental consent to use the App
• One account per person; sharing accounts is not permitted

3. Subscription Plans

Free Trial

• All features are available for 14 days after installation at no charge
• No credit card is required to start the trial

Standard Plan

• After the trial period, a paid subscription (Standard Plan) is required to continue using AI-generated notifications
• Pricing is displayed in the App and may vary by region
• Payment is processed through Apple's App Store
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings

Cancellation and Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• Free features equivalent to the trial period remain available after cancellation
• Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data
• Input content designed to manipulate or exploit the AI system (prompt injection)
• Use automated tools to access the App (scraping, bots, etc.)
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Input content that defames, discriminates against, or otherwise targets other users or third parties inappropriately

5. AI-Generated Content

The App uses OpenAI's AI model (GPT-4o Mini) to generate notification messages.

• Notification messages are generated by artificial intelligence and may not always be accurate or appropriate
• AI-generated content does not constitute professional advice (medical, financial, legal, or otherwise)
• Notification tone can be selected from "Strict," "Normal," or "Gentle." Selecting "Strict" may result in strong or commanding expressions
• We are not responsible for content generated based on the settings you choose
• We do not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or suitability of AI-generated messages
• AI-generated content is provided "as is"
• If you receive a notification that feels inappropriate or offensive, please contact our support

6. Intellectual Property

• The App, its design, code, and branding are owned by SeventhCore
• AI-generated notification messages are provided for your personal use only
• You retain ownership of any personal data you provide (profile information, task names)

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Service Availability

• We strive to maintain the App's availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability
• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time with reasonable notice

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms within the App. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

12. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the App, superseding any prior agreements, representations, or understandings.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court.
